Yamisoft Entertainment Inc. is primarily an independent game development company. We are in the business of developing original, top-quality PC games published through Internet channels. We're building a solid debt-free foundation by starting with small, high-quality budget games. Our versatile team has the talent and experience to produce competitive and revolutionary AAA titles. However, due to absent funding, we currently target the mainstream low-budget market using our skills to stand out from the 'shovelware' and 'cloneware' crowd and bringing the highest value to gamers.

Although initially formed in June 2001, Yamisoft was incorporated as Yamisoft Entertainment Inc. in beautiful Vancouver BC, Canada, in April 2002.

Despite its recent establishment, Yamisoft has been a dream in the making for the past decade. Its first incarnation was Yamisoft BBS, a multi-line Bulletin Board System (BBS) with a strong fan base and one of the first to offer free Internet e-mail accounts. Despite being amateurs at the time, our games rivaled and sometimes exceeded the quality of commercial games on the Atari ST and PC.
