The Society extends its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Matthew Battye who sadly passed away on the 9th April 2009. Matthew was an active member of the B&D and a ringer at his home tower, St Mary the Virgin, Cottingham. A celebration and thanksgiving service for Matthew's life will be held at Christ Church, Endyke Lane, Cottingham on Monday 20th April at 1pm..
