Unity in Diversity

Philosophically speaking, the fact that wikis do successfully operate is an indication of the dominant goodness in human nature and that most people like to be constructive and helpful to others. Wikis rely very heavily on community involvement, and it's amazing that despite the confusion and chaos we see all around us in the real world, wikis, although they are represented by the same people, never get messed up. You will surely come across diversity and difference in the views of many people, but all this, in the sum total gives the impression of one big whole.

Right or Wrong?

It's not really helpful in the world of wiki to use the words "absolute right" or "absolute wrong" because of the very fluid and changing nature of these "absolutes", and even if deviance is valued here as much as conformity, wikis never face the problem of getting polarized one way or the other. The fact that every person from every school of thought comes to wiki, ensures that the channel is not usurped by a single group and that every second person moderates and blunts the edges of another person results in the fact that wikis on the whole never get a decisive tilt towards any side. Thus, though every opinion can be right, in some way, to one group of people and wrong, in some way, to another group of people, the fact that they both exist in the same space makes them aware of where the other person's nose starts and where they must stop waving their punches around before noses get bloodied. It's this constant check and balance from the other side which makes wikis bullet proof.
