Quil Forbes devised a website whereby you could key in ie: your postcode or address (From) then the postcode address you are going to and the website would do you a detailed map of how to get there by bike including bike crossings back street routes avoiding the heavy traffic. cycles.net was the name of the website and I've been using it for the last 4yrs in and around London. It has been simply invaluable to me and now it has disappeared without trace? Can anyone throw any light on this or has access to a similar website or even a Satellite Navigation system that can do all this? Please anyone out there with any ideas. I love cycling around London but would like to do it as safely as possibe.
