hi my name is glynis in 1981 I read a book called Ashes in the Wind by Kathleen E. Woodiwiss published in 1979 the year I got married. My twin sister bought me this book to keep me occupied during my pregancy, she also told me that if I had a girl Alaina would be a beautiful name for my daughter and that I would fine a surprise at the end of the novel, Alaina,s mothers name was Glynis my name, of course I did fall in love with the name and named my child Alaina. Alaina is a beautiful woman know and she is getting married soon, I would love to buy her the hard covered book. please if there is a way my email is glynislongo@hotmail.com

Subdomains and external links

I have a question -- is there a way to change the link that shows up at the beginning of the article? For example, on Yearzero.nin.com, the link goes to http://www.yearzero.nin.com/ , but the site is at http://yearzero.nin.com/, and there's nothing at www.yearzero.nin.com. Thanks for your help! It's a known problem and we intend to correct it by having the system search for the site first to figure out the right URL and then point there. Unfortunately, there isn't a workaround currently :-( -- Ray

Subdomains with a problem

Hi Ray, I tried to create the subdomain page for a wiki I manage at Wikia costieraamalfitana.wikia.com and about us does not find that domain. It puts the www. in front of the subdomain and therefore when you click on it you reach the "wiki not known" page. Is there a way to avoid this? Thanks! --SabineCretella 01:57, 29 March 2007 (PDT)

Hi Ray,

1. When replying on the public pages, [1], if you could consider putting your response in italics, it helps me make sure that we are responding to everything. I do a quick scan of the page to look for holes. I use the italics to help identify answered queries.
2. Also, I think it is great that you go by your first name. I don't see such a practice scaling and would as you to consider using your full name as a link. Just a thought or two! :-) Best, MarkDilley
