Website of dutch fashion designers G+N.
G+N are Gerrit Uittenbogaard (1971) + Natasja Martens (1973)
The website www.fashionfugitive.nl was launched in 2000 and was meant as a presentation platform.
With it's crisp looking design (by Sander Plug and Fabrice Koopman)it immediately attracted a big deal of media attention
and kudos from people involved in the designindustry.
In 2001 G+N presented their spring summer collection in Paris by sending out invitations to international
contacts to "be seen at www.fashionfugitive.nl"
International press was disappointed to find that the door of the Paris based gallery was closed.
The only thing that could be seen was a big mirror placed in the window.
There was a webcam pointed on people that would watch themselves in the mirror and images were directly broadcasted at
G+N's website (streaming media.
Unfortunately fashionfugitive.nl was a difficult website to update so it was redesigned and relaunched early 2007.
The first website can still be visited via a link in the "projects" section.

The name fashionfugitive was chosen to underline the fact that G+N does not
fit into the image of a regular fashionlabel.
They do things their way and think in projects rather than collections.
