In February 2011, Google launched what is now being referred to as its Farmer Update. The update, consisting of changes in Google's algorithm, mostly affected content farms or websites with "shallow or poorly written content". FindArticles.com is also one of the websites whose search engine ranking and traffic has declined sharply since the update.
