Grand Traverse Distillery is located in Traverse City Michigan and uses locally grown agriculture to distill its vodka and whiskey spirits. World class distillation is found here in Northern Michigan and the distillery has received 4 international gold medals for its True North Vodka(rye grain) and its wheat bases vodka. A cherry flavored and a chocolate flavored are also available.
Whiskey is also distilled here and Ole George Straight Rye Whiskey at 93 proof is our first. Ole George is a 100% rye whiskey with all the flavor of rye and with a very smooth finish. The distillery recently introduced its first bourbon whiskey at 92 proof. The whiskey products are just sold in the distillery tasting room as they are limited at this time. The tasting room is open Monday through Friday from 11am to 5:30pm.
