The Massachusetts Coalition for Adult Education (MCAE) is the voice of adult basic education in Massachusetts. We include basic literacy, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), preparation for high school credentials such as the General Educational Development (GED) test, and programs for family literacy, workforce development, workplace education, and post-secondary education.
