MOD or Ministry of Design is an integrated spatial design, interior and architectural firm that has won Singapore's President's Design Award twice, won the GOLD KEY AWARD, the INTERNATIONAL DESIGN AWARDS and featured appearances in WALLPAPER, FRAME and SURFACE. Design Director Colin Seah's innovative approach to Question, Disturb and Redefine has been applied to hospitality and high-end residential projects like New Majestic Hotel, SOHO China's condominiums, SHO-U Restaurant, Royal China Restaurant, Ashley Isham Boutique, Klang Lane Apartment, Ontario Residence, Holland Park Residence and Singapore Pavilion. Architecturally trained in the US, Colin Seah honed his sensibilities working for the likes of Rem Koolhaas and Daniel Libeskind. He also spent 4 years at the National University of Singapore's Department of Architecture researching design pedagogy and serving as design critic. Colin was named Hong Kong Perspective's '40 UNDER 40' ARCHITECTS. The year before, Colin was nominated for the MARCUS CORPORATION FOUNDATION PRIZE 2007 as an 'emerging architect with potential for greatness'. The same year, he was recognized as an ARENA + LOUIS VUITTON BLACK COLLAR MAN OF THE YEAR for his contributions as an architect and spatial designer.
