I was born in 1980 in Ekaterinburg, third largest city in Russia and infamous as the burial place of the Romanovs, the last Russian Royal family. When I was young I learned to play the piano, some figure skating, ballet dancing, and the basics of gymnastics. Aerobics of the early 90s introduced me to intensive choreographed cardio training and helped me to keep fit. I also had a passion for biology but the thought of being around sick people put me off a career in medicine.
