- 10 years ago I started a small website called "The City" which covered skateboarding in New York and the news that affected it. 6 years ago when that website changed its name and focus to feature the raw local talent through video clips, it became Metrospective.com. After a number of earth-shattering events and tragedies that scarred New York skateboarding deeply, I hosted the first All City Skate Jam in an effort to bring back some old memories and spark some new ones. It became clear that the times had changed, the past was history, and the Official New York skateboarding website took on a new role.
