The political world underwent a transformation in the 1960s and 1970s. As the media was kicking open the doors of smoke-filled rooms, individuals who shared viewpoints were learning that there truly is strength in numbers.
We were knee-deep in that chaos - and paid attention. We listened, learned, and devised new strategies and tactics that allowed individuals and organizations to advance their ideas. We helped to create and manage early grassroots organizations. When Congress created PACs, we turned the legislation into effective reality. We brought tactics like relationship selling and the power of persuasion to the political world.
In the decades that followed, we honed that expertise and continued to create innovative approaches for advancing people and ideas. Not just ideas for reaching out to elected officials - we also created ways for them to reach back to their constituents. We were the first to combine many of these approaches with the power of the computer - and today, we're the first to bring much of this expertise to the web.
