I knew just a bit - the main reason I created the wikipedialink template was to have that little icon to the right of it.

Changed the code to use [[Wikipedia: for the text part. Didn't think of it when making the template.

If MediaWik Magic Words work here, then {{urlencode:{{{1}}}}} instead of {{{1}}} might let the parameter work even if it has spaces. I didn't change it though - partly because it looks very complex, and I didn't understand the whole template. Chriswaterguy | talk 10 March 2011.
