User talk:Kamranrocksit
Welcome
I am forgetting how to get the external link working for a subdomain, so I will try to get back with you when I have the knowledge for us to fix Kamran.50webs.Org.
I wonder if you would like to add a little bit about yourself on your personal page so the community may get to know you? (You can see mine as an example by clicking my name below.) Let me know if you have any questions along the way - you can leave a message on my talk page via the "talk" link by my name (see How do I send a message to another user? and How do I improve my signature? to learn more about how this works). You may also join the AboutUs WebIRC to chat or ask a question, and below are some links that I have found useful...

- Okay, I spoke with some experts via our Web IRC and discovered that the standard links don't work for subdomains without a www. However, I went ahead and changed "Title" to be a working external link to your site and the "read more" link works correctly as well. I removed the box that shows up at the right because none of those links will work, nor the thumbnail. See InternalLinkingGuide to see how you can play with the top link I created, and let me know if you have any more questions. KristinaWeis 21:47, 17 August 2007 (PDT)
- Unfortunately that link at the very top left is not able to be fixed for subdomains that aren't www's... at least not yet. One random tidbit is that when you're linking to something within AboutUs you can simply put everything after the "/" in double brackets. For example, formatting an internal WikiLink to your site here would look like this: [[Kamran.50webs.Org]] and the working link would look like this: Kamran.50webs.Org. Linking in this way can also help the page to load faster I have found and I think the link itself looks a little nicer. See InternalLinkingGuide for more info. Have a great night! Internal Linking Guide and/or Help:How do I link to another article or another website? may be useful. If you want, I'm currently in the IRC (chat room) if you'd like to join us and talk about this. Best, Kristina ..talk.. ..chat.. 14:18, 27 January 2008 (PST)
