Welcome to my AboutUs user talk page. You can leave me message here if you like, but I don’t visit here too often; so I might not see your message for a few weeks. So you might get a faster response on my Wikipedia user talk page. —teb728 t c 01:19, 25 June 2008 (PDT)

Hello

I am checking into the "queue" for update. Not sure why, but I think DomainTools.com isn't 100% perfect on this. Please ping me if you haven't heard soon enough. Best, MarkDilley

Bug

Nope, that is some sort of database bug that I don't fully understand. For the time clicking "refresh" up in the blue bar solves the problem and all pages should be batch updated in the next 24 hours. Sorry about that :( Kristina (contact me)

I'm glad you're here and checking out the new look of the site.

  • There is no longer the functionality to upload a new version of an image, although that link does remain. I forget why this changed happened, but I remember thinking it was the best option at the time because images were being "stomped" all the time and the ability to fix it had broken or something like that. It's still a pain though.
  • The ability to edit individual sections within the Wiki section has went away. It is something that Mark Dilley and I would really like to get back too, but with our new infrastructure our developers say it will be a lot of work to re-implement so I'm not sure if/when it will happen.
  • FYI, another feature that has stopped working is the ~~~ magically turning into a signature. This is something I miss, but only us cool kids know to do it :P and I guess it's hard to re-implement too.

Let me know if you have any other questions. It's painful to lose things, but I hope it will balance out with the new features and that it should be easier for new people.

p.s. Let me know if you'd be up for changing your username from TEB728 to something more personal, like your real name.

Best, Kristina Weis
