ProBoards main source of income is through AdFree purchases, and the Google ads displayed at the top of every message board. ProBoards in 2003 stopped using popups or popunder ads making their software and hosting more unique.

ProBoards was the first remotely hosted service for free that gave subdomains.

ProBoards has many servers. To view each domain they do own as a server, server mergers, or domains that were taken and not owned by ProBoards go to: ProBoards.com/servers.

Some information that should be known about the Support community. Only the people with the red names and has 'ProBoards.com' as a custom title should be trusted with your password. The only time your password is ever asked for is when it is to confirm your original signup password to restore a deleted board or regain ownership.
