Title
The Blog Herald: more blog news more often
Description
The Blog Herald was the first blog dedicated exclusively to the news of the blogosphere and today remains the longest standing resource of its kind.
The site posted its first proper content in April 2003 on a design inspired by the then homepage of the Movable Type blogware. Early posts were dominated by references to external sources, mainly from the mainstream media, as blogging started to emerge as a topic of conversation.
Version two was launched latter that year and took on a new three column standard blog layout and started to develop more commentary and included for the first time new contributors.
